18 mei 2017 - Memphis, Tennessee, Verenigde Staten

Today a nice trip to Memphis. The weather in Dallas started to be bad, dark with a lot of black clouds. We drove direction Texarkana. Halfway we stopped in Mt Vernon, a small village in historic style. We found this village because we drove the small routes. We had a coffee here.

Later in Texarkana we found a Longhorn.We had there a fantastic lunch. Longhorn is  One of the best Texan Steakhouses. It was delicious!

At about 18 h00 we arrived in Memphis. We made a reservation in a Days in. A fantastic location, we were the neighbours of Graceland, the last home of Elvis were he died. We are going to visit it tomorrow.

We took the dinner in the hotel.  

We drove 492 miles today, that's 791 km, we walked only 2 km.

    Encore de superbes photos ! Sur la route de Menphis, on y est vraiment !
    Love me tender !!!! Le musée d'Elvis, ça peut être un peu kitsch, mais à voir absolument !
    Bonne route, peut-être un peu moins de km ?

    Ah ah ! In Austin my friend Joelle was working in a steakhouse.... Where I only had the big potatoe with cream and cheddar. I lost weight in the States... Should return (soon).
